TV Technical and Engineering Program

Students in the TV TECHNICAL AND ENGINEERING PROGRAM will learn the elements of television production through a hands-on approach that allows them to use state-of-the-art equipment to learn about broadcasting signals, camera systems, lighting for studio and field, editing, recording systems, audio and communications. CENTRO's studio is equipped with the same (or better) technology being used in television stations across the country.  After the first 15 weeks of rigorous training, students in the TV TECHNICAL AND ENGINEERING PROGRAM will use their knowledge and CENTRO’s equipment to produce a daily television show.

Program Length:  
7 months (30 weeks)

Class Schedule:
The Technical engineering program requires 25 hours of class and hands-on studio time per week.  
Students choose to register in the morning or the evening program (based on availability).
• Morning Program: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Evening Program: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Tuition:
$12,000 including all books, fees, materials and use of equipment
